Try your hand in our printmaking studio (rm. 103) with a focused introduction to studio etiquette and using the printing press!

• Gain confidence utilizing a printmaking studio through hands-on instruction and sample monoprint printmaking
• ​Learn about fundamentals of printmaking, such as color mixing, inking and ink viscosity, mixing mediums, and examples of different printmaking techniques
• Train in the Do’s and Don’ts of printing in the studio - learn studio/material etiquette, and the safe and correct method of operating the American French Tool Press (setting pressure, blanket use, and cleaning)
• Suitable for both complete beginners and those looking to develop further - this workshop is formatted for adult (18+) students
• Led by Brooke Lambert; as an Akua Inks sponsored artist, Brooke Lambert’s experience highlights the qualities unique to the brand’s products through this program.​
