Go on a journey through landscapes and more through Michael McGuire's expansive acrylic paintings - influenced by both the abstract art world and everyday life itself.
A Lexington native, Michael returns to highlight his experience as both a working artist and gallery owner. He graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA in Sculpture, and then relocated with his family to begin focusing on his painting. From there, Michael's focus on art and art-making is evident - as a working artist, painting became his sole occupation and he opened McGuire Gallery in Provincetown, MA. Through the year, Michael spends time painting near home, as well as in Sarasota, Florida and Paris, France. His artwork is held in collections across the US, as well as in Ireland, Mexico, France, the UK, Germany, Russia, and Canada.
