Theater Pharmacy Window 2026

ArtWalk was formed in 2015 when a group of residents got together to imagine a more vibrant Lexington downtown. One of these members met for coffee with the Munroe Arts executive director and the concept of ArtWalk was born.

ArtWalk matches up local artists with retailers in Lexington Center to create a walkable art show for nearly two months each fall. We believe this benefits the whole community - amplifying foot traffic both to the shops and visibility of artist work, as well as an accessible and inspiring display of art in our town for residents and visitors to enjoy. Over the years, ArtWalk volunteers have also managed other community art projects such as creating art for the street barriers during the pandemic.

Most of the art is for sale, and is managed directly through the artist via the contact information on each piece of art. Anything sold is expected to stay on display throughout the entirety of the display.

ArtWalk 2026 is underway now all up and down Mass. Ave. in Lexington Center, as well as some shops along Waltham St. Stay tuned for a list of retailers & artists (who and what is where!) which is currently in-process.
