Bob Adams was the second Board Chair in MCA's history. He joined the team again in 2025 to lead the capital project design, and found a welcoming home on the board again later that spring. An architect by training, Bob has had a diverse practice of residential, commercial, and institutional designs. Bob has also been a long time member of the Lexington Historical Districts Commission. Bob oversees the FY26 Capital Project that brings the MCA into the 21st century with updated HVAC and full building accessibility.

Donald Bailey has been with the Munroe Center for the Arts practically from its inception. As a contractor by profession, he helps to keep an eye on the building and oversee its maintenance and special projects. Tom Griffiths joins the Board having an extensive background with the MCA, and with knowledge of Town infrastructure. Tom has been a member of Town Meeting, and sat on the School Committee, Capital Expenditures Committee, as well as an Ad-Hoc School Facilities Committee. Tom served as MCA Board Chair from 2010-2016, and Treasurer the following year. His career is in software, having semi-retired as Principal from his company Evans, Griffiths, & Hart, Inc. circa 2007. Tom has seen many capital projects in his time, and brings that knowledge with him as Interim Board Chair in FY26.

Susan Knauer joined the MCA Board in 2024. She is a professional program and portfolio manager leading global teams in pharmaceutical research and development. She brings with her lifelong participation in music and the arts and skills in strategic planning and financial management. She is FY26 Board Vice-Chair and leads the MCA Development Committee.

Laurie Krigman was first introduced to MCA as an artist participating in the annual Lexington Open Studios event. Professionally, she has a background in finance and holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Econometrics from the University of Colorado. Laurie currently acts as a Professor of Finance at Babson College. She joined the Board in 2025 as a Trustee.

Star Lancaster has a background in public health and currently is employed as a Senior Data Management Analyst for Optum. Star also first got involved with Munroe Saturday Nights (MSN) and is currently the MCA Board’s liaison to Munroe Center Stage. She has been on the MCA Board for several terms and has served to help oversee numerous organizational developments and provide prudent oversight.

Kevin McKenna, a six year Lexington resident, joined the Board in 2025. Kevin’s background is in asset management, with senior roles at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Blackrock. Now semi-retired, he sits on the Board of Trustees of a mutual fund complex and enjoys painting and art making. Kevin fervently believes that the arts can make communities stronger, which couldn't be a better link to Munroe's mission!

Bill Passman is a semi-retired computer engineer, with a background in software control system and engineering management for electric and hybrid transportation. Bill and his family have been connected to MCA for many years: his wife, Emily, is a former artist tenant and current teaching artist, and their son attended MCA camps, both as a camper and counselor! As a member of the MCA board, Bill looks forward to intersecting his interest in the arts, energy conservation, and technology. Bill chairs the MCA Building Committee.

Peter Ray is a six year Lexington resident, with a passion and appreciation for all art forms. Professionally, Peter is a portfolio strategy and analytics specialist in the pharmaceutical industry. He also serves on the board of the Society of Decision Professionals. Many of Peter's other passions stem from his family, such as fluency in Japanese and advocacy for connecting the special needs community to the arts. He joined the board in 2025.

Pam Smith is a 14-year Lexington resident, as well as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Since retiring from elementary education and administration, Pam has concentrated on her new passion of mixed media art.
