ArtSpan Summer Camp Information
We can't wait to have you join us this summer!
Details will be sent to all registrants the week prior to camp. General information is below.
ART MATERIALS will be available for anyone who would like to pick them up early. They will be available at the parking lot entrance of MCA on the Friday before camp from 9:30am - 5pm. Please call us (781-454-9163) if you would like your camper bag brought to your car. We will also have them on Monday morning for campers to pick up if they haven't already. Please look for a bag with a button that has your child's name on it.
SAFETY MEASURES We require that all campers wear a mask and maintain a social distance from others. We understand that this may be new to many children, and we have instructed staff on safe "mask breaks". If a child is unable to wear a mask or socially distance from others in a responsible way it could result in being asked to not return to camp (in this case there will be no refund). You can read more about our safety measures online. However, in our prior weeks of camp, we have been impressed by how well the campers were able to tolerate masks and distance.
DROP OFF begins at 8:30. We have staggered drop-off times to reduce congestion of arrivals. We ask that everyone but the camper remains in the car. Staff will be available to escort your child to their class area. Please drive to the back of the building and around to the back field. Our staff will be waiting to check you in by the camp flag.
PICK UP your camper 3 hours after arrival (e.g., 11:30 if a 8:30 drop-off).
The person(s) authorized to pick up your camper must have a VALID ID. Thank you for understanding, and helping to keep our children safe.
ONLINE CLASS links will be provided on Monday, in accordance with our safety measures.
3:30 for older ages
* weeks that have lower enrollment may have only one group
SNACK TIME will happen mid-morning. We ask that all snacks and containers are able be manipulated by the camper alone, and that they do not share snacks with others. Campers will also need to bring their own water bottle to camp this year.
CAMP WAIVER - Please complete these and bring with you on Monday.
You can find the camp waiver online.
SELF-CERTIFICATION - Our camp guidelines require us to ask that you confirm that your camper is healthy each day. We have provided a touchless form that you can access online. We will ask that you do this EACH morning before you leave your camper with us.
CAMP FRIENDS? Please email us by Sunday night if your camper is coming to camp with a friend. We will have assigned seating and want to make sure friends are together.
