About our Program:
Our ceramics studio fires in an electric kiln to mid-range cone 5 (approx 2160* f). The studio is equipped with 9 pottery wheels, work tables, and a slab roller. Typically, our studio has about 10-12 different glazes, with a combination of dip and paint-on types and underglazes available. Enrolled students have access to shared clay, often Laguna B-Mix or Standard 112 clay bodies. Demonstrations and exercises vary week to week and are often tailored to meet the needs of those enrolled. All levels of experience and background are welcome.
