This class explores ways to use, alter, and combine handbuilding techniques to expand creative possibilities. Students will draw inspiration from their imaginations, their lives, and ceramics by artists from different cultures. The class covers pinch, slab, and coil construction, along with surface techniques. Demonstrations, individual assistance, and group conversations with student input are important parts of the process. Adults of all life and clay experience levels are welcome.
