Introduction to Collagraphs

Collagraph printing plates are built by adding textures to rigid surfaces using found objects, papers, string, fabric, and glue. Students will explore ways to build texture and print the results using both relief and intaglio inking techniques. Participants should bring ideas for imagery they would like to develop.
