Gel Plate printing offers an exciting opportunity to create one of a kind monotypes with simple materials. Learn processes to make multicolored, multilayered prints using Speedbal gel plates, Akua inks and natural objects. Students will create a large number of prints that are related by motif and color using a variety of papers to create various effects.

Leaves, shells, feathers and other natural objects will be provided but participants are also encouraged to bring any flowers, stems, leaves, etc. that are meaningful to them. Printed papers such as old music sheets, pages from books, maps, wallpaper, etc are also fun to use. The possibilities are endless!
