For generations, the traditional stitched sampler was a wonderful way to practice and explore embroidered techniques. In this workshop, we'll do the same, but with a more colorful, dynamic and contemporary approach – using both a variety of stitches -- including running, back stitch, chain, seed, and french knots – and a collection of vibrant threads. Students will use a pattern to create their own piece, personalizing it with color choices and stitches. Beginners and intermediate learners are both welcome. Supplies will include a base fabric, pattern, needles and thread.
