I often find my muse in the human condition, drawn to the universality of human emotions as people go about their day to day lives - urbanites navigating the complexities of a metropolis, sellers plying their wares in small town markets or Adivasis (indigenous folks in India) celebrating harvest. The interwoven threads of hardship, rejoicing, weariness, hope, desperation, resilience form the kaleidoscope of memories that I draw my inspiration from. This series of paintings and sketches capture those memories, inviting the viewer to reflect on the untold stories behind the myriad visages and the existential journeys of their owners.
