- ☔ UPDATE ☔ 12 - 2PM Blues Dogs performance taking place in the front yard to listen or dance to - bring a picnic and enjoy!
- Printmaking activity (front yard) - gelli printing will be lead by teacher and guest artist, Marina Strauss
- Classroom open house, with staff available in the afternoon to talk about classes & camps for visual arts, performing arts (music, dance, theater) and ceramics

- Saturday morning 11:30AM - 12:30PM - Join printmaker, Stephanie Stigliano (bio below) in our new printmaking studio (rm. 103) to make some gelli prints! Afterwards from 1:00 - 2:00 she will be doing demonstrations and answering questions about our new etching press and upcoming opportunities to learn and use the press.
- Saturday & Sunday 11am - 5pm: The annual Lexington Open Studios is happening all across town. MCA artists will have their studios open, and we will be hosting another dozen artists displaying their artwork.

Printmaker Highlight - Stephanie Mahan Stigliano
Stephanie Mahan Stigliano
We're thrilled to have Stephanie Stigliano's expertise benefiting our printmaking studio space, as she demos the American French Tool press on Saturday morning. Explore a display of her prints, drawings, and more on her website! Stigliano has experience leading online art groups in book arts, drawing, and printmaking to students of all ages. Currently she is a faculty member of The Art, Art History, and Film Department at Boston College. She has curate for Hess Gallery and taught across New England, from Walnut Hill School for the Arts to Art New England. Her artwork is in the collections of the Fogg Museum, Houghton Library of Harvard University, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum for Women in the Arts, and the Book Art Museum of Łodz, Poland. Locally, Stigliano’s work has received recognition at the Portland Public Library and Boston Athenaeum’s Prints and Photographs Collections. Stigliano has initiated extensive projects internationally, from The Technical College of Reykjavik (Iceland), to a workshop at Hurumzi Henna Art Gallery (Zanzibar), and contributions to The Jane Matejko Academy of Fine Arts and International Book Art Festival (Poland). |
