Signs of Inspiration

We are looking forward to 2021, and more so with a special public art project of jumbo letters.  This project was catalyzed in response to Lexington's Economic Development Department's interest in winter placemaking activities.  Take a walk, and grab your camera for a fun new year's selfie.  Tag your photos at #lexartwalk to create a community collection.

"Hope" can be found at the Stone Building along Mass. Ave. in East Lexington, and "2021" can be found in Emery Park in downtown Lexington during the first six weeks of the new year.  For February we have also added "Love" in Tower Park, and a big valentine heart along Mass. Ave. in front of the Munroe Center for the Arts.  The February installations will stay up through Valentine's Day.
