Youth Classes:


Picture
Monday Youth Ceramics 
Grades 4 - 8
Mondays 4 - 5:30 PM
April 3 - June 5 (no class 4/17, 5/29)
Instructor - Nat Moss
$317 (+$40 Required Material Fee)

Students will use both the potter’s wheel and hand-building techniques to create from their imagination. This class will be introduced to form, texture, patterns, and glazing, while learning basic studio responsibilities and cooperation. Projects are both functional as well as sculptural. All experience levels welcome!

Clay Creations
Grades K - 3
Tuesdays, 4 - 5:30 PM
April 4 - June 6 (no class 4/18)
Instructor - Nat Moss
$352 (+$40 Required Material Fee)

This class gives younger students a chance to experiment with squishing, rolling, and pounding out clay into fun and functional ceramic pieces. Kids will learn the value of expressing creativity through 3D artmaking, while also developing fine motor skills. An apron/smock is not required but good for clean-up.

Weds Youth Ceramics
Grades 4 - 8
Wednesdays, 4 - 5:30 PM

April 5 - June 7 (no class 4/19)
Instructor - Court Spence

Teen Handbuilding & Wheel
Grades 6 - 12
Thursdays, 4 - 5:30 PM
April 6 - June 8 (no class 4/20)
Instructor - Nat Moss

This class will focus primarily on methods of hand-forming and building to establish a foundation for ceramic creation. Students can experiment with both handbuilding and the pottery wheel throughout the semester. Feel free to explore sculptural and functional projects! Students will practice techniques and improve the quality and detail of their art in a welcoming environment. All experience levels are welcome.​

Teen Wheel & Handbuilding
Grades 6 - 12
Fridays, 4 - 5:30 PM
April 7 - June 9 (no class 4/21)
Instructor - Nat Moss
$352 (+$40 Required Material Fee)

This class is geared for teens who want to expand their foundational skills by primarily learning basic pottery wheel techniques. Students can experiment with both handbuilding and the pottery wheel throughout the semester. Feel free to explore sculptural and functional projects! Students will focus on exploring different styles, identifying points of view, and developing good craftsmanship. All experience levels are welcome.​
