Figure Drawing Studio

Relief Printmaking
Adults
Tuesdays, 6:30 PM - 9 PM

$149 + $25 materials fee
This class will introduce linocut printmaking, by carving linoleum blocks to use with floor or table top printing presses. Students can expand their printmaking skills with line, shape, patterns, form, and more. With a brief introduction to different relief types and how to build up colors with multiple carved blocks, students can gain insight and confidence for future printmaking projects.
All experience levels are welcome. The printmaking studio utilizes non-toxic materials; all students are asked to review the 2024-25 printmaking studio guidelines (provided upon registration) ahead of their first class in the space.

Join us on a gentle approach to the watercolor medium, providing students with the opportunity to explore and/or enhance skills with watercolors. This class will focus on training the eye with organic still-lifes and outdoor observation, to introduce layering and developing a sense of vibrancy and color. Students will be introduced to both technical skills (wet-on-wet), as well as art theory. Ideal for beginners, with all experience levels welcome!
