Teen Arts Council is an open, inclusive creative community for teens in grades 7-12 interested in the arts. Teens can make art, connect with peers and artist mentors, share ideas, and help shape teen programming at Munroe.
No particular level of art experience is required—just an interest in making, exploring, and being part of a creative community.
What We Do
Open Studio & Art Making — Explore new materials, techniques, and ideas through guided projects and independent work.
Teen-Led Programming — Share feedback, dream up new programs, and help create experiences for teens, by teens.
Artists & Mentors — Connect and collaborate with local teaching artists with a range of backgrounds and creative practices.
Exhibitions & Events — Create and curate teen artwork, participate in community events, and help bring teen voices into Munroe.
Leadership & Volunteering — Build skills through mentorship, classroom assistance, community projects, and other leadership opportunities.
