During this time of social distancing, MSN had been working hard on finding a way to bring our usual performances to our audience!
We are proud to bring you this short play reading of Virtually Theatre by Debbie Wiess. It is an honest and humorous piece that explores what the future of theatre might be after COVID-19.
Because of the virtual nature of this performance, we were able to work with actors from all over the world. The cast of this play zoomed in from San Diego, London, and Ireland!
We know that one of the best parts of an MSN play reading night is the conversation and audience interaction found in the Q and A held afterwards, so we are bringing that to you as well! Join us this Saturday at 7:30 pm for a zoom Q and A with the playwright, Debbie Wiess and Ana Gregoire, our performance coordinator, who directed and edited this piece!
Debbie Wiess is a fantastic playwright who grew up in Lexington. We will be having her back next season to do a reading if her play A Revolutionary Encounter in London - A play about Ben Franklin and Phillis Wheatley's meeting during her visit to London in the summer of 1773.
Thank you to our Silver-level business sponsor, Walden Framer - helping to bring a stage to local artists, and engaging programming to residents and neighbors.
