A Collective Journey by Judith Cooper & students
May 20th - June 14th
Thank you to all who joined us for the reception! While this show is no longer on display, view the slideshow below to enjoy parts of the collection.
Celebrate the 12th year of this artistic workshop group, or "The Archetypal Figure Workshop That Turned into Much More"!
Participants: Ronnie Gould, Suzanne Grey, Hans Heilman, Susanna Natti, Sarah Springer, Wayne Wylupski; facilitated by Judith Cooper
The core participants in this group have been meeting together for 12 years, with some joining more recently. For the first year, each participant started with the Archetypal Figure Workshop, which laid a foundation of trust and honest introspection. Over the years, the group has experimented with different themes and/or assignments; each participant is able to work in their chosen direction with the materials of their choice.
In Cooper's words, "the focus is on giving each individual an opportunity to grow through her or his art in a safe, supportive and sacred space." They grow through critiques, presentation, and references of artists worldwide, serving to foster an open dialogue from content to intent and the imaginative use of materials.
The MCA Gallery is located on the middle floor, and open during regular business hours: M - F, 9AM to 5PM
Parking can be found behind the building or along Massachusetts Ave.
