The Gallery at the Munroe Center for the Arts, Lexington is currently seeking requests for proposals from local artists. The gallery is highly prominent, receives significant daily foot traffic, and is available for exhibitions in four to eight week blocks.
Hanging shows, organizing receptions and promotion are generally the responsibility of the artist but the committee can offer help.
Munroe Center for the Arts hosts three small galleries for exhibition only (no sales). All galleries have 12' high ceilings. Total square footage below includes unusuable space (some doorways). Bob Adams Gallery has two locking rooms totaling 176 s. f. Our Hallway Gallery is 275 s.f and great visibility for all students in the building. Download a floor plan of the gallery.
The galleries are open between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday - closed on weekends.
Proposals will be reviewed by the gallery committee on a rolling basis.
