Monday Youth Ceramics
Grades 4 - 8
Mondays, 4 - 5:30PM
September 16 - November 18 (no class 10/14 & 11/11)
Instructor - Drew Moss
$290 + $40 materials fee
Students will begin by learning hand-building techniques to create from their imagination. Pottery wheel demonstrations will follow, giving an introduction to developing uniform shapes. This class explores topics of form, texture, patterns, and glazing, while teaching basic studio responsibilities and cooperation. Projects are both functional as well as sculptural.

Clay Creations
Grades K - 3

This class gives younger students a chance to experiment with squishing, rolling, and pounding out clay into fun and functional ceramic pieces. Kids will learn the value of expressing creativity through 3D artmaking, develop fine motor skills, and establish clean-up habits. An apron/smock is not required but good for clean-up.
