Be part of a summer community art exhibit in area shop windows by reimagining the beloved flip-flop.  Play around with colors and forms, recreate the work of an Old Master, or paint a favorite summer landscape on a *totally* new canvas.

Dates & Deadlines:
🎨 Register HERE (all ages, all abilities)

• JUNE 4, Friday - Flip-flops are provided for pick-up (see Materials, below)
• JUNE 23, Wednesday - Artwork to be returned - basket inside the back door @ Munroe Center for the Arts
• JUNE 18, Friday - Artwork put on display in local shop windows

Materials:  

• Flip-flops will be available in a box behind the Munroe Center for the Arts (far corner below blue overhang).  We are asking that artists donate $5 to offset this cost (see Donate button below).
• Alternately, artists can also find their own flip-flops at Old Navy, The Dollar Tree, etc.

• Checks can be made out to/mailed to the Munroe Center for the Arts, or dropped off in either the office (214) or mail cubby at the front door, with "ArtWalk" in memo line.
• Cash can also be left at the MCA office (214) - 9am to 5pm, M - Th.

ARTIST TIPS:

• Flip flops will be displayed indoors.  
• Sharpies work, acrylic paint works, collage works!  
• Flip flops with an existing image on them might need a primer coat first (gesso, etc.)
• Subjects:  Bright colors, something in your garden, your pet, something you are reading about?
