Prior to the work done in the winter/spring of 2020, several windows were cracked, and many had gaps between the glass and molding that allowed cold air to blow into the building.
Many windows had broken sash cords which had deteriorated with age, preventing windows from staying open.

Both interior and exterior window sills had become dry and cracked from age and weathering.
Four windows that were blocked over time were reopened.
The parking lot entrance was modified with an automatic door opener, and small elevator to create an accessible entry for classes in dance, music, art, and ceramics as well as the accessible toilet room.
Screens were not part of CPA and MCC funding, and were made possible through a generous donation from the Lambertus family. In many cases, screens and storm windows were not operable.
Also through this gift we were able to make use of the bucket trucks on site for the windows project, and painted the siding, eaves, and trip with desperately required maintenance to prevent building rot.
